7. Installation Guidelines

Proper installation is essential for optimal valve performance and service life. Follow these guidelines when installing the 24\" DN600 lug butterfly valve:

  1. Pre-Installation Check: Inspect the valve for any visible damage during transit. Verify the valve size, pressure rating, and flange compatibility match the pipeline specifications.
  2. Pipeline Preparation: Ensure the pipeline flanges are clean, free of debris, weld spatter, and gasket remnants. The pipe ends should be properly aligned with no offset or angular misalignment.
  3. Valve Positioning: Insert the valve between the flanges with the disc in a slightly open position (10-15°) to prevent seat damage during installation. Center the valve body between the flanges.
  4. Bolting: Insert bolts through the flange holes and valve lug holes. Tighten bolts gradually in a cross-pattern sequence to ensure even compression of the seat. Do not over-tighten — refer to recommended torque values.

  7. Do Not Use Valve as a Pipe Support: The valve must be independently supported. Do not use the valve body to support the weight of the pipeline.

14. Warranty

Laux Valve provides a 12-month warranty from the date of shipment against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service conditions. Warranty covers replacement of defective valves or components at no charge. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, unauthorized modification, or normal wear and tear of replaceable seat materials.
